AR Group was appointed to remove and replace sixty-nine failed fire rated glazing units as part of the wider refurbishment of the landmark G1 building.
Works included:
full survey of sizes and specifications
careful removal of failed units
the supply and installation of new Pyroguard fire rated glazing.
Specialist installation methods were used, including our Winlet glazing robot and rope access, with all works completed in accordance with RAMS and manufacturer standards.

AR Group was appointed by Sharkey to deliver a comprehensive façade and glazing package as part of the redevelopment of 9–10 St Andrew Square, a Category A-listed building in Edinburgh’s New Town.
Scope of works included secondary glazing, aluminium curtain walling and doors, stainless steel screens and doors, frameless glass doors and targeted window repairs across the building envelope.

AR Group delivered a full glazing and façade package at Hayweight House as part of its conversion into a hotel. Works included curtain walling, windows, doors, high performance glazing and integrated fire stopping and insulation systems, coordinated closely with the principal contractor.

AR Group completed the replacement of forty four high level glazing units during term time at Leeds City College. Works were delivered within a live education environment of approximately 3,500 students using specialist access planning and controlled working arrangements.

AR Group completed a rooflight refurbishment and glazing replacement programme at One Life Medical Centre to address water ingress and improve system performance.
Scope included rooflight refurbishment, replacement of glazing and rooflight components and installation of new high performance glass units. Full access, lifting and on-site coordination were managed by our specialist team.

AR Group completed high level glass replacements at 2 Semple Street. Works required road permits and full traffic management planning, with installation delivered using specialist access methods within a live commercial environment.

AR Group designed, supplied and installed new aluminium windows to improve performance and appearance within the operational production environment.

AR Group undertook full engineering, design, supply and installation of a new back-up structure to accommodate existing granite cladding panels.
Works included the fabrication of new flashings and the coordination of interfaces with the existing building envelope.

AR Group completed glass replacements to restore system performance and appearance, delivered safely within a live commercial environment.

AR Group completed glazing and cladding remedial works including glass replacements, cladding installation and specialist snagging. Works included CWCT water testing to verify system performance and weather tightness in accordance with required standards.

AR Group completed a large-format glass replacement within a restricted-access retail environment. The works required specialist handling and installation techniques to manage weight, size and internal constraints safely.

Luna Place, Dundee
AR Group designed, supplied and installed two frameless structural glass entrance screens complete with new doors. Works included surveying, engineering of structural interfaces and installation within an operational retail setting.

50 Bothwell Street, Glasgow
AR Group completed the design, supply and installation of curved cladding and flashings at 50 Bothwell Street. Additional snagging and remedial façade works were carried out to support overall building presentation and performance.

Edinburgh Gin Distillery, Edinburgh
AR Group completed remedial door alterations, snagging works and minor repairs to support operational performance and durability at the Edinburgh Gin premises.

School of Engineering, The University of Edinburgh
AR Group completed 2,112m² of brick slip pointing works to support performance and aesthetic refurbishment of the building façade.
